Ames Goldsmith UK Ltd are committed to continual improvements in its environmental performance and to prevention of pollution.

The company will identify and comply with all relevant existing and developing UK, European and International law. It will conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance.

This policy will be reviewed annually and applies to all Ames Goldsmith UK Ltd activities, products and services.

In order to meet these commitments, Ames Goldsmith UK Ltd will endeavor to:

• Seek to reuse, recycle and recover raw materials and waste wherever possible, amongst all staff and across all spectrums of activities, responsibilities and services.

• Dispose of waste produced in an environmentally responsible manner wherever reasonably practicable.

• Ensure wherever possible that all products purchased that are derived from natural resources are from sustainable sources.

• Set and review objectives annually, and establish, implement and maintain programmes in order to achieve these objectives

• Facilitate where possible the reduction in use of company vehicles during working hours and regularly monitor the condition of such vehicles with a view to reduction of harmful emissions.

• Train and motivate all staff to work in a environmentally responsible manner, and ensure systems of communication operate in order to keep all staff and interested parties informed.

• Endeavor whenever possible that customers, associations and contractors with whom we have dealings are likewise environmentally minded in their approach to business.

• Conduct audits of procedures and practices and respond to deficiencies through a planned programme of remedial action.
